Knowledge Institute History

Dating back to the early 1970's, the Knowledge Institute was established with a solid small business management foundation. As co-founder and president, Deborah A. Osgood offers an unusual combination of business management and technology skills developed in both the small business and multi-national conglomerate environments. Her contributions have been in the area of strategic planning, implementation and control with an emphasis on marketing development.

Joining forces in 1995 under the name of the Knowledge Institute, Dr. William R. Osgood contributes his extensive business management expertise in the capacity of vice president and treasurer. Having developed a program for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston that provided business counseling and financial assistance to minority-owned and other entrepreneurial ventures, he has a long history of successfully contributing to small business development.

The Knowledge Institute represents a consortium of consultants, teachers, counselors and other entrepreneurial and business experts. It was founded with the mission of helping small businesses to effectively compete, grow and prosper. With a dedication to the highest level of professional integrity and knowledge, the Institute continues to attract outstanding talent. We invite you to contact us to discuss how we may best serve your needs.
